I am currently majoring in Business Information Systems at Chico State University and have been repairing computers and assorted electronics for the past 5 years. I have extensive experience in all aspects of the technological field and having taken courses in computer networking, operating systems, hardware, Java programming, data network management. Through hands on experience I have learned how to repair computers and perform computer maintenance. Living in the Silicon Valley has given me the opportunity to intern at Applied Materials, which is the global leader in nano manufacturing technology solutions. Applied Materials focuses on flat panel displays and solar photovoltaic cells, flexible electronics and energy efficient glass. I was employed at Proxim Wireless where I focused on networking management and software/hardware equipment testing for over 2 years. Computers have helped me see how much I enjoy working with people and helping them solve their technological queries. Providing excellent work has always been important to me and here at The Help Button I want to extend my services to the people at a respectable rate.

Jack Acton

I am currently majoring in Computer Science at Chico State University. I have been working with computers for approximately 7 years now and have found that when people ask, Jack, can you fix my computer? the challenge is my favorite part. I have always been interested in technology and robotics which has led me to take courses in HTML, Java script, Linux and Windows operating system, networking, programming, algorithms, data structure and a wide variety of programming languages. My understanding of computers has allowed me the opportunity to intern for Locus Technologies where they focus on environmental data management software and storage, as well as environmental information management. My computer knowledge has also led me to web design where I have worked on, and created, sites for not only Locus Technologies, but for smaller companies as well. I have come to love working on computers and through my work I have striven to be dependable and reliable, which is something our company stands for.
